Seat Swap Question

2004 F-150 Heritage XLT Ext Cab 4x4

Currently have a 60/40 seat with the integrated seatbelts. Would like to get buckets and a console like in the expeditions. Been searching a while, but can't find them with the integrated seatbelts. Only seen a few pics, but not a lot of details. Maybe I'm not keying in the right wording. Are there particular years that will work/won't work? TIA

I’m wanting to do this to my truck too since it appears that the console won’t interfere with my shifter (manual transmission). You will probably need to find seats from another super cab as the expedition and super crews have that pillar there for the seatbelts. I could be mistaken and am not entirely sure on this. I do know you will have to drill and tap some threads into the floor for the new seats to mount to. If I were to do it I would only need to replace the passenger seats and get the console that doubles as an armrest

I have a manual too and the previous owner installed two different gray seats in mine. Driver and rear bench match, the passenger bench does not and I think is original. So I am curious what you guys come up with. Oh, I have a 1998 XL Extended cab (3 door) so neither one of my front seats slide forward for rear access which is quite a pain.

I’ve not changed mine yet and I may not as there is a bit of work as well as cost since the consoles fetch a premium. When I bought my F150 almost two years ago, neither of my rear doors opened at the time but the front seats moved forward enough to allow an adult to squeeze into the backseat. I’ve quickly fixed the rear doors with the aluminum cable ends in place of Fords cheap plastic ends and have not needed to do that shortly after I bought it. What I don’t understand is why Ford has all the different seat and seat belt designs as it just added manufacturing difficulties and cost. At least now with their newer trucks, the doors, seats and a lot of the interior are the same between cabs in the F series.
