>are you guys just raggin on me? i really wanna know what
>this thing is since i did buy it
Uhhhhhh yeah buddy, they're pullin your leg. (Some pretty good quips too, lol).
I grew up on a farm and thought I had seen most any kinda horse drawn implement there was. That looks like nothing I have ever seen before and I can't begin to guess what it might have been once upon a time. Unless these guys are closer than they think.......
(Personally I like the horse drawn dragster idea myself...lol).
I dunno Vampiro, but whatever it is, you prolly got the only one in captivity.
Well, since on one else will tell you, I think I know what it is. But I have not looked at that site yet. Why do things in order?
Anyway, I have, at my mom's place in Florida, an old horse-drawn stalk-cutter, which was converted to be pulled by a (Farmall Cub) tractor. It has the same rear wheels, but between the wheels is a paddle-wheel with sharp horizontal blades that rotates as the thing is pulled, and chops corn-stalks into foot-long pieces.
I never used a horse or mule, but spent many hours on the Farmall cub pulling that thing in the corn field.
And yes, I did say Florida. Most people may not realize that the North West portion of Florida is greatly agricultural.
We also had a harrow which was similar, which had front wheels like those in your device. When I go back home to Florida, I will get some pics.
Next question, what on earth are you going to do with it? Sorry to laugh at your innocent, well intentioned reponse, vampiro, but it was one of the funniest moments on this site to date. I'm still laughing as I write this. Don't be offended buddy, it's just that, well, it's......somebody else help me out here.....I can't type through the tears of mirth.......
What? That's a perfectly good reason for buyin it....
Vamp, I got this gizmo that was sittin in my dad's barn for years that really does need a home. I've been waiting for the right suc..... uhhhhhhhhh entrepreneur to sell it to. Someone that would appreciate it's uniqueness.
