Update on my tool box latch

I posted a while ago looking for a factory lock. I got some good ideas from users on a latch.

I bought this latch.

some modification was needed. The hole the OEM lock was in needs enlarged. 4 new holes need drilled. But I'm happy over all.

I used stainless button heads and threadlock to hopefully deter theft. Not that anything of value will be in there.

As an added thought. I think I could've disassembled the new lock and made the old one work, but at $30 I didn't want to experiment.

Looks great. Most people wouldn't know it not original.
