The truck is 13 years old and I was wondering if I should change the front end bushings. It is making a popping noise at low speed hard turns (parking lot turns). I'm not sure if it is the power steering crankcase or the bushings. Any advice.
i changed to urethane bushings on my 88f150 while converting to 4wd. it feels very tight and responsive. the 85 i used for 4wd parts had all kinds of funny noises from the front while turning and driving. these are all gone with the new bushings! i was surprised to see how distorted the old rubber bushings got. anyhow, have fun with the old nuts and bolts, use lots of elbow grease and wd40
