Transfer Case Problem
2006 Ford F350 V10 I have been having a problem with the transfer case sticking in 4WL. I can fix that problem temporarily by removing and reinstalling the two relays, it will work for a while and then stick again. I decided that maybe new relays would fix that problem. The old relay is part number FOAB-14B192-AA, The Ford dealer gave me a new part number 5M5Z 14N089 A. I had to pry up on the old relay with a small screw driver to remove it. During this process I saw a small spark. I installed the new relays and no longer had the 4WD indicator lights on the dash when switching to 4WD and the 4WD is not working. I checked the fuses and the 15 amp was good the 30 amp was blown, that was the spark! I still have no power when turning the 4WD switch. I put the old relays that were working when I removed back and still have the same problem. I do have current at pins 86 and 87 at each relay socket. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks
