Back up camera issues
I took delivery on 6/8/2021. I now have 3,600 miles on the new F150. Today, my back up camera stopped working. It says something like "Backup camera unavailable, see dealership." Is Ford still having back up camera recall issues on the 2021 F150's? My dealership take about 2 weeks to get an appointment, which is very annoying. Any one else having back up camera issues on their 2021 F150?

I 've been looking around to see what the status of the camera recall is. I have a 2022 F150 Lariat with a couple of thousand miles on the clock. The rear camera has been cloudy since day one. I see no indication that the recall applies to the 1922 models. Anyone else with a later truck that has the cloudy camera issue?

I would like to bring this camera malfunction thread to life again. After cleaning the backup camera, the cloudy issue seems to have gone away. My 7k mile 2022 Lariat has an intermittent rear camera and big screen failure to come on. This has happened about six times. I get the Ford logo screen or blank screen. The backup camera may or may not come on. Sometimes when the backup camera fails to come on and place the truck in drive, the big screen fails to come on. It has always come on eventually, sometimes after a minute or two. I consider this a minor annoyance and slight safety issue with no BU camera. I had the truck serviced at 5K miles and this issue had not surfaced at that time. Is anyone else having this intermittent problem? It does not do it often enough that Ford would be able to detect any problem. Other than this, the truck is doing fine.
