Trade in recent purchase for a 2022?

I had to buy faster than I had planned due to issues with my expedition. I found a ridiculous deal and put 25k down, so I could trade it out even (or maybe even make a buck if the dealer is desperate for inventory). At worst, it would essentially be a wash. On top of that, I got a $2500 incentive from Ford in my account today. I can get a 2022 F350 xlt from a local dealer and be at the same price as the 2021 f250 xlt that I bought last week. Would you pull the trigger or is the hassle not worth it?

Will your state taxes or license fees be higher with an F350's higher GVWR?

Would you need the payload?

The payload would be the most (only?) compelling reason to do it

I can get the size fifth wheel we want for now and fit the payload of the 250 but we will likely want to upgrade before the truck wears out and I'd like to take advantage of a competitive market at the moment

If it's actually a wash, no cash out of pocket, go for it. Having more payload is always better than just enough!
