Timining Questions
I have a '92 F-150 4x4 with a 302 in it. I would like to know what the factory timing is supposed to be set at? Also if I would advance the timing what should I advance it to?
Does advancing the timing add any mileage, power, etc? I heard it did but don't know for sure.

Timining Questions
Timing is 10 deg. BTC with the spout disconnected. Spout is a small plug looking device that is taped to the wiring near the TFI module on the distributor. Remove this plug and you are in base timing mode (no computer control). Set timing and reinstall plug so computer can do its job. I would not recomend that timing be advanced beyond factory specs. as other undesirable problems are usually created.
Timining Questions
The spout connector is on the drivers fender well by the diagnostic hookups. I have a 1989 F-150 that I set at 14BTDC and I noticed a little more throttle responce and a little more pinging under WOT.
