Prgammers

The Diablo, Super Microtuner and Hpertech III are fairly close in price. Are they all compatible or is there any real advantages to one over the other for a stock 2000 Ford Expedition with a 4.6 that is used for medium towing and pleasure driving?

I would like to have any performance and economy enhancements that would be greater then the stock programming.

Diablo doesn't make one for your application. Granetelli dealers have been listing a part number since May but it doesn't exist. The Superchips has the advantage of having a diagnostic code reader and it tunes at all throttle positions. Hypertech tunes at wide open throttle only. Buy it for performance, its not designed for economy, any mileage gain is offset by the fact that you must run it in premium fuel mode to gain any real horsepower.

When you buy it for performance are you talking about all programmers or the Hpertech?

Thanks

All programmers. None of them are designed for mileage.
