I've found more than a few EVTM's on eBay in their "other manuals" category, this link should take you to the Ford Econoline selections: E-Series eBay EVTM's
I post these from time to time but it seems to be largely ignored so use it as you will---or will not.
Largely ignored? Mmm...a few of us enjoying reading these for troubleshooting. As you mentioned to me before, I need the year-specific manual rather than relying on my 2004 manual for my 2003 van. I had to do online searches for troubleshooting my alternator yesterday. This manual is probably ripped and full of greasy fingerprints. Having the correct manual is better than not having it!
Can you give me some tips on my alternator issue? 11.7 volts is no good. Don't answer here as I "hijacked" your post. Thanks for all your help to everyone on this forum. You rock!
I own the complete 1998 and 2004 set as well a 1 CD for 2004. I do not like CDs.

Indeed the year specific is and can be quite important---I've seen it myself with each of the three E-Series I now own; 2000, 2003 & 2005. Wire colors, pin locations, physical location and presence or absence of some parts making them pretty much vital, IMHO.
I'm glad you've discovered how useful these are----after I purchased my first to add PDL & PW's to my 2000 I knew I could not have done that modification without one.

After I bought my first EVTM (2000) and then acquired a 2003 E-250 its EVTM was one of the first purchases made. In fact I had 5-6 of those as I'd find them on eBay for crazy cheap prices---if one is good 5 is better? Since 2008 I've bought every year from 1997 through 2017. I have a few on CD-ROM's but they're a bit more work to use, find the printed versions easier to navigate and use at the actual van.
One reason I posted that generic link is there seemed to be a good number of pre-'92 manuals----no time like the present to grab these up as they're out-of-print and availability will become less and less in the days ahead.
