My plan is to retire next year. Either June 30 or December 31 depending on my mood in June. On the other hand, I'm already Social Security eligible and have made sure that the office knows it. "Look at me cross-eyed and I've got no problem walking out that door and not coming back!"

 

My thought don't waste a great summer, retire early date. You will like it..

 

Bass...I agree with PT...retire...the sooner the better. Best thing I ever did for myself...now...I have time for all my DR appointments. I've also picked up a parttime job...I'm known as Uncle Uber...I take my great nephew to and from lots of practices and games. I also chase his teams across Western MA...gives me something to do.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "WOW! What a ride!"
