heads

I picked up an extra 390 and found the head numbers ,but can't find any info in the forums.It has a c2se and a 6090 on both heads.Would these heads be early 60's?

Make sure you don't actually have a 406 there... I think those are the small C-chamber heads....... I call dibs if you sell!!

Oh mark, ya got something good from '62. Is there a letter after the 6090? They could be either 6V Tbird heads, 390HP heads or 406 Lowriser heads.

I checked the heads and it looks like a 3 or B or mabey an 8,right after the 6090.I think I'll just take off the oil pan and see whats on the crank.

Has to be a “B”, no numbers are used in that position. So, looks like you have some early small chamber 406 4V or 6V heads, how about that!
