Had a fun weekend! Spent some days out in the Black Hills riding the trails with our Ranger. Will be doing that again for sure! The trip did have some problems at least for me. I used my dually to haul two Rangers and a four wheeler out there. About half way out there it developed what seemed to be a rod knock. It made it out there and made it home. Wasn't sure if it would or not. After doing a little research and work with the scan tool I think I have a leaking injector causing the knock. Crossing my fingers that's the issue. The other issue I had was about a mile into the first trail out there I managed to put a large stick thru the sidewall of my tire on the Ranger. We managed to stick about seven tire plugs in the hole and got it to hold air to get us back. Then had to buy a new tire and back to the trails! I guess its all about the experience!
Have a video call with the surgeon tomorrow. I think all is going pretty well with that. Now I am wearing this for my foot. Plantar facaitis. Not sure how to even spell it. Lol
Evening Jay! Boy you are just falling all apart aren't ya....haha. I guess I never mentioned it the last time we camped but yes we got a new Ranger this summer. Got one with the all enclosed cab. We love it! Planning on doing a lot more trail riding now. Black hills trip was our first one with the new ride. Sold my old Ranger less then 24 hrs after listing it and made quite a bit on it over what I paid for it 6 years ago. So that was nice!
Here is a couple pics of it. Only thing different on it now is I have tinted the back and side windows with 20% tint.
