Went to the other country at the S. end of Fla. today to pick up some parts . Owner has grandiose plans for his '52 5 star truck w/ a 215 over head valve 6 cyl. Talking all new drive train . Rubber & wheels ,disc brakes , seat , rubber seals thru out , steering , radiator & a bunch more . Talking less than a yr. by himself . I'd take that bet . We all know better . Told him to save the 4 wheels , Magic Air heater & fresh air tube for me . He said it's a deal . Said he is going to remove the running 6 cyl. No smoke , knocks & etc.
The truck is quite clean & straight . I would leave it as is .Will take some pics next time down there . He is not going to let me have the take off items but some trading will be involved . The spare tire bracket & hardware have found another home .
