Harmonic balancer

I have a harmonic balancer from a 70 302 motor. Can I use this on a 351w motor? Not sure what year the 351w is as it is not original to the 83 Bronco it was in. It was a rebuilt engine.

the balance is the same with the 302 in the 70 model as the 351 so I would say it should. later

Thanks for the info. I was confused because I have seen 28oz balancers and 50oz ones but don't know what was used on each motor or what year they were used for. Can anyone explain the difference to me?

Around 82 down the 302 used a 28 oz balancer and flywheel/flexplate. 82 up the 302 used a 50 oz balancer and flywheel/flexplate. The 351 always used a 28 oz balancer and flexplate/flywheel. Somewhere in 82 or so the balance changed with the 302 but your well away from that model year so your good. Hope that clears things up a bit, later
