ATN is in a few days and I am of course going....but....
this is the last one. retiring. closing the shop, closing the vending. 25 years on the field is enough, its time to work less. its been a fun run but at my age you dont know when you will get a 'no start' condition in the am so I need more fishing and boating.
I have already spoken to my stalwart show buds...almost like a 2nd family. they know my wife, kids etc from the start.
the trailer is loaded with everything not nailed down I dont need for the show truck (argh! A chevy square!)
all is for the selling, tents, tables, even the damn rv. Im coming in heavy, going home light - come hell or high water, have an auctioneer taking in the load of whatever does not go, the week after.
stop by if anyone still attends. J21-24 one last time. I wish Bricks was still around to see me off as he and soodg got me to join, but, life is life and nothing comes with a warranty.
If I get the chance I'll stop down and say hello. I'm not showing anything this year (again, long story) but I'll be milling around and seeing everyone I know and maybe trying to score a deal or two if they're to be had in the swap meet.
I know this is a Ford board and all, but, I can't hate a good squarebody Chevy. Nothing wrong with classics.
