Didn’t you agree to and lock in the price when you signed your build sheet and put down your deposit?

 

Do they all get those features? I would expect Ford to keep the 8"(or smaller)in the XLT and lower, with the 12" being Lariat and up. Like it is now. Same with the instrument cluster. Higher trims would get more digital, lower trims more analog.

 

That's what I received from my dealer as well. While Ford have not provided anything definitive, he expects the 22MY SD to continue in production until around the end of the calendar year - probably up to the Christmas shut-down, when they would re-tool for 23MY. Just his best guess.

 

So order an XL or XLT and get the standard gauge cluster and a 4" or 8" infotainment screen.

Woke up to an Email from Ford that my truck has been built. Woohoo. They say it's going to take about 3 weeks to get it shipped to Calif. Would be nice if you could go the the factory and pick them up.

 

I hate black interiors! They are so common and unoriginal. My current truck is a 2018 F150 Platinum with the Marsala interior. The new colors in the F150 are no where near as nice and warm looking, the alternate in the Platinum is Baby poop yellow. IF I am going to replace a truck I truly like with a SuperDuty it has to be just as nice, and interior color is part of that being nice.

 

With everything else going on and the length of time it’s takes to get a truck I just figured that would be another battle. I spoke with my salesman today and he said that I was locked in and if there was any incentives offered from the date I ordered I could use them. Or if there were better ones now I could pick the ones I would rather use.

 

There you go, now you just have to wait for it to be built and delivered.

 

I received my email on 3-30-22 and says delivery 4-17 and 4-23. In San Francisco area. Where are you?

 

Ugh. What the heck is going on over there? They’ve scheduled SD’s what two weeks over the past month and a half? At least it feels that way.

In the almost year that I have been monitoring scheduling, this is not that uncommon, especially since the plant was shut/reduced capacity for a couple of weeks, due to chips. A few times they have completed a large block of scheduling and then none, or minimal for a few weeks.

When did you order?

 

I ordered over 18 weeks ago. Not the longest wait, but still behind most orders I’ve been seeing on here.

with the current lead times from scheduling to production means I won’t see the truck until about 27 weeks, at the earliest, from ordering. Over 6 months for a 250 XL is not ideal.

 

Mine just went into production.

Order submitted to Ford on May 6th 2021 lol - not an XL though. Def should take less time for those.
