It wont start
First off I am a dumb@$$ and I would like to thank everybody! After going through the whole fuel system including changing injector pump and filter head, changing both batteries, starter and pulling my hair out for a month the cause of the problem was, drum roll please, the
GLOW PLUGS!!!!! I had installed a new set when I put the motor in and never checked them (they are new got to be good right) and the truck has been inside so I never plugged it in like many people suggested untill the other day. So there are 2 morals to this story 1 check your GLOW PLUGS first even if they are new. and 2 If somebody on here says check your GLOW PLUGS Check them. I had the great honor of getting 8 bad ones right out of the box they still looked brand new when I pulled them out of the motor. (they didnt look like they had even gotten warm)
But the truck starts like a champ now and this part of the story is over
A more likely scenario is that they burt out durring all that starting activity.
Bythe way, what brand did you buy? If they're not Ford/Beru, I'd junk them, now.
AC Delco, Champions, Bosches will all swell if they are allowed to heat to much. If they break off insidethe head, your screwed. You'll be pulling the heads to retrieve the pieces.
