I have and 87 F150, 300, 4spd. My A/C is cold but the thing just isn't blowing hard enough. The fan switch is working, I can tell it switches to different speeds and I can hear blowing hard down by the heater core but the air isn't coming out of the vents very hard. I can switch between defrost and floor and it blows the same there. Any info would be appreciated. When it's on panel it's only blowing out of the vents so I don't think I'm losing anything to the defrost or the floor.
If you take you blower motor out, you might hook block off the outlets except for one and then use a leaf blower to blow into the open outlet and see if you get any debris (leaves or junk)blown out the hole where the blower motor mounts. (sort of a reverse flush)
Here are a few things to look for. I have seen all of these things happen. Aftermarket blower motors wired backwards. Squirrel cages loose on the shaft and not turning fast enough. Blower moters not turning fast enough (bad motor). Evaporator cores plugged with leaves etc. Under dash ducts out of place (air leaks).

Sounds like the blower to me also, when I replaced mine I found parts of newspapers and junk that got shoved up there somehow. (women treat cars and trucks like garbage cans :-))
Thanks for the posts. I'm going to check for the leaves, debris, etc. I can see the squirrel cage from inside the truck (look between heater core and kick panel) it seems to be turning fine. This is an aftermarket blower and I was thinking of replacing it with a Ford blower.

You think if I weld the third door shut
it will stop the door cracks???
That's all I had to hear,I had the same problem
with my 86 E-150. I bought an aftermarket blower
motor and it had less than half the output of the
ford motor. It wasn't cheap,($141)but it was well
worth it. The Van has dual a/c and cools down in
seconds, the only way to go if you own a van in
south Texas. Buy a Ford blower, you'll notice the
difference the second you turn on the a/c.
