Does anyone know what type and size of fitting is on the driver's side manifold for the egr tube? Pictures show some type of tube flare fitting, but I can't nail down a size or type. I'm hoping to find a stainless steel plug for this. (Yes, I am aware of the issues in blocking the egr)

1995 federal emissions F250, 460, e4od.
Curious why you are deleting the egr? It will trigger a CEL, unless you bypass that as well.
The cone shaped piece has the threaded piece attached to it and screws into the manifold. When I removed mine to put a new tube on it the cone piece broke off of the threaded portion and that was what I was left with. To get the threaded piece out took A LOT of extreme heat to remove. If you wanted to delete it you would have to remove it from the manifold where mine broke and go back in with a plug that would fit the opening. Shouldn't be hard to find a plug to fit. I don't recommend you do this but it's your truck. The new tube was a B**** to put on and the bends were not lining up with the EGR valve and the cone piece. I found a new cone piece that has the threaded portion on line to replace it and found a new tube. EDIT If you can get the tube off the cone without breaking it like you see in the picture, you could put a plug on it. Good luck.
I'm building a much stronger engine and I am also swapping to an aftermarket ecu, stinger pimpxshift. Egr will no longer be used. However I couldn't find banks headers without the egr fitting. I did get the CA emissions that don't have the a.i.r. tubes though.
For the record, closest/best fit was 3/4" npt. I machined a bevel in a 3/4x1/2 stainless bushing to seal on the seat in the fitting on the header and then ran a 1/2" plug in the bushing.

Where did you buy the EGR tube as I cannot find a part number for my ford f 350 460. I am new at the messaging hopefully you will get this question. I am 65 now and battling to keep up and spent 2 days looking for the part. Rob
They say here to send the VIN to them for confirmation. I didn't see this earlier. I would also call Stevens.

Please be aware that the vehicle compatible chart on eBay is not 100% accurate, but the OE# provided in our listing is correct, If you already have OE number of the parts you are looking for, then you can just searching by OE #. If in doubt, please send us your VIN, that's the BEST way to check if this is the RIGHT FITMENT.
Thanks for all the help. I just came across another page in the forum where "damnedin82" was asking you the same question as he had the same year as mine. Perhaps I should ask him what he did for a EGR Tube. I will get hold of the company that you provided with my vin number. Thanks again.
