I'm installing an STL emergency light on my backrack . I want to keep the wiring clean and professional looking , have any of you
guys tried running the wires inside the backrack ? I hate to drill holes , then find out the tubes are closed off on the inside .
Or , any suggestions on for securing the wiring to the rack externally ? I dont want to drill any holes unless absolutely necessary for
wire retainers but will if needed obviously ...
Just wondering what others have done before I take an approach I regret . 2019 Superduty with this Backrack .
Due to the nature of welding square tube together at right angles, the path from the top horizontal bar down to the bedrail will most likely be blocked off in a couple places. Maybe a quick call to Backrack can confirm it or not.

Lilmags500 . . .there's a company named "MAGNUM" that sells a plug and play harness so you can add OEM functional lights to your backrack without splicing into your harness. I know this doesn't address your plan but thought it may help.
Stick them to the back of one of the uprights, zip tie the power cable to them, and then run the cable down between the bed and the cab.
This is what I did on my last truck with a backrack. Works perfectly, and there is no need to drill any holes. Keeps the cable perfectly in place. I also put split loom around my power cable to avoid chafing on the zip ties.
