Coolant type

I'm about to do a coolant flush on my 2013 F350 6.2l V8. Do I use the orange coolant when done? So confused. Thanks

Ford has modified their coolant again.. (I think the orange coolant has been having problems).. Here is what to switch to..

Get it at your local Ford dealer.. (sometimes is cheaper there)

There was no issues with the Orange, the license was up for renewal and Ford didn't pay GM the increased fee. So the switch to a modified POAT coolant was made. The Orange coolant is easily obtained, it's Dexcool after all. However if you stay with the Ford guidelines the new coolant is Yellow. The Yellow is compatible with the orange. The choice is up to you how you want to proceed. The Yellow is also available outside of Ford and is sold as Prestone CorGuard.
