1982 ford f150
82 ford f150 4x4 300 l6 4 speed...
theres a whine sound that starts immediately as it gets up to temp.. if i rev up engine it speeds up slightly.
It ONLY stops when im in gear and accelerating, if i push in clutch the moment the truck stops accelerating and starts coasting the whine comes back.
new alternator. New power steering pump. New belts.. im stuck please help
PS: this has been my daily driver for about a year before the whine started.

What did you do before the noise started?
If it was 1 of the pumps remove the belt 1 at a time to see what pump is making the noise.
Power steering pumps make noise so could be it?
