Tires Tires Tires

I know this has been discussed lots of times and you fine people can make it easier than searching. Can I run LT295/70/18 on my rig with no rubbing or any other issues. Rims would be 18X9 (-12mm). 2021 Ford F350 Lariat with camper/plow package SRW if I ever see it. I will be towing a 35 foot 5th wheel toyhauler. I like the extra tire size for the weight and the new rims I would be ordering. TIA.

Since your new wheels will be a little over and inch further offset to the outside before factoring the extra width you should be over half and inch further away from any suspension components while adding less than half an inch back in width (on the inside). I would say there is no way you are going to have any rubbing. I am considering this size or the larger 35x12.5-18 size on stock wheels and do not anticipate any issues. Like you I am waiting to see if/when my truck gets built. I am not buying any wheels or tires for it until I see it in my driveway first. I need to be able to run tire chains, at least on the rear but I like having the ability to do all four in some situations. I would be pretty confident you wont have any issues with the set up you describe, those tires are not that much bigger. Ford sells the Tremor with with 285 width 35" tall tires.
