Just as the title says, why no build and price on fords website if retail ordering is open?

I had hoped (and thought) we might see it today since they started production of 22's Saturday and quit making 21's....but I was wrong.

Ford always runs behind production on updating the website for the new MY.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit if it is September before they get it done.

If I remember right we were months into 21 production before they updated the build and price.

Yes. A couple months behind production. It's best to use the order guide since that lays out what options pertain to what packages. And the '22 order guide is out there. No pretty marketing pictures, but it flat out works for screwing a truck together. No prices but you can work that out with your dealer. I think they lag on the model year switch on the web site is so they use it as a tool to move prior model year inventory. Yes, I know things are different this year and will be different for a couple years down the road.

Perhaps the chip shortage has spilled over into the web developer's workstations and laptops?
No, but in all seriousness - there is a real shortage out there now of qualified workers, I wouldn't be surprised if Ford's web department is short staffed.... But who knows?

The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

Ford marketing is awful. The market side is behind and outdated. Their literature lies and has just plain wrong information. They will make promises that the plant can't keep. Spent 4 months last year catching them in one falsehood after another.

I'd recommend skipping the Ford tool and using NADA for build and price. There have been missing, and inaccurate options on the Ford site. I've not yet seen an error on the NADA one.

What difference does it make ? they've been taking orders since march and they're telling us the parts should be here in October. I don't think getting orders placed matters to them one bit so who cares about their build and price page. .

Pricing on there was incorrect when I spec'd mine out there, base price was off by $250, both invoice and MSRP.

Well, I'm amazed that it is up already, did someone at Ford see this thread???
And, it is even accurate, matches all options and prices on my order, even shows the rain sensing wipers/heated steering wheel.
Outside pic looks identical to the 2021 B&P.
Inside pics are different though...

This is really cool. I ordered the sport appearance package and wasn't really able to see what that would look like. Finally got a first glimpse of it and I like it!
