Anyone happen to have a few pics of an XLT jump seat and driver/pass headrest?

Anyone happen to have a few pics of an XLT jump seat and driver/pass headrest?

Hello all. I’m in the process of ordering a katzkin kit for my 2017 XL and am being told that the jump seat and headrests are different from an XLT and won’t work.
I wasn’t aware of this and just trying to confirm.
Thanks
John

I am not sure what you mean by 'jump seat'? Is this a super cab, crew cab? Philip.

It’s a crew cab and the jump seat meaning the center front seat that folds down into a console/armrest.
Thanks
John

I have a 2021 CC XLT. The top pic is the Ford generated pics when you 'build and price' your truck on Ford's website. When I saw the rear center seat console, I was excited, but it was not part of the dealers build guide. The bottom pic is how truck was delivered, without rear center seat console. Order date was 1/29/21 delivery date was 3/29/21. I think this was a feature they were phasing out on XLT's. Good luck with your search. Philip.

The headrests are a little different at the mounting points, but the Katzkin kit works perfectly fine anyway. I ordered from Touch-ups. I called and spoke to them before ordering. They were well versed in what I needed. Fyi, the jumpseat is the toughest seat to do in my opinion.

Thanks STX. After watching the video online it definitely looks like the jump seat is the worst of it. I have the XL with the jumpseat with the lid that opens on top.
Do you think I’ll be ok with the kit designated for an XLT and jump seat.
I can’t find anything online that shows a difference between an XL and XLT jumpseat.

Thanks
John

There is no difference between the jump seats in 2017 on XLT.

Yes. My 2019 F250 XL has the same one as yours. Just make sure you order the jump seat for the Super Duty. It is different from the F150. I also ordered black plastic for the cup holders.

Off subject but is there a way to remove the headrest on the jump seat? It takes up about half of my rear view mirror.

I’ve been calling the center seat in the front that folds down to make an armrest the jump seat. I’m pretty sure all head rests come out of all seats. Atleast I hope so since I’ll have to take them out to replace the cloth covers with Katzkin covers.

I agree. I currently have the jumpseat headrest removed.

I can barely get my fingers under it, there seem to be two connection points but they don't want to give at all. How did you manage your removal?

There is a release button on both posts, driverside.
