I picked up a set of these front seats today for my Bronco. The guy said they came out of a 1995 Explorer Sport. Never seen factory seats with an adjustable leg bolster. Can anyone verify if they are Explorer seats or not?
Those resemble the seats in my brother's old Explorer 4 door. I think his was a 1994. I also recall that the Mustang SVO had adjustable leg bolsters as well from the factory. I suppose there were others.
Those seats bring back memories. My 1991 STX Ranger had seats like that with the adjustable bolster. The fabric pattern is very similar, but the fabric was blue where yours appears to be grey. They also had adjustable lumbar (I think that's what you call it). There was a little pump and a valve to adjust pressure. Those seats look very similar, which isn't surprising. My Ranger seats didn't have the extra pad up top that the seat on the left has. Irrespective of the model, those seats are very clean for something out of a 1995 model year. I'd love to find something like that for either my 1999 Mountaineer or 2000 Explorer. I don't find the leather seats very comfortable. It's not the leather that makes them uncomfortable (although I don't really care for leather), but the shape of the seat itself.
