Moving.. finally!
I'm finally moving. I sign the lease Nov 3rd and should have everything in by Nov 8th. I don't know if it's good or bad though. I found a little one bedroom apartment for 295 a month and it's only about 10 minutes from where I work. I'm not sure how I'll like living in Lubbock. It's a little bit too big for my taste... Heck! Who am I kidding! I don't even like living inside little Leveldirt (aka Levelland)... All 11,000 people here are just toooo looouuuddd ...
The good thing is I won't be spending 250 in gas each month to commute, I'll have a place of my own close to work, but I don't have my own computer so I don't think I'll get to come visit FTE as often as I want. :-( ... I'm already planning what I'm going to spend my tax return on.. either painting the truck or buying a computer... geez.. what a choice... Anyway, wish me luck and I'll try to keep in touch guys...

good luck connie...I sent my lil' brother up there tonight...with the Lake View Chiefs...so the Leveland crowd may be a little heartbroken after they lose tonight...Just wanted to give you a head's up.

Connie, good luck with the move! I used to live in Post w/cousins in Leveland. My brother still lives in Lubbock and probably always will. When I left Post there were about 3500 people, probably less now. Lots more to do in Lubbock, but you're right, it will be louder!

thanks guys.. i signed the lease this morning. that apartment is soooo small. i won't be able to get even half my stuff in there i don't think. but then, i guess that's what grandma's garage is for. i won't have to move it if it won't fit... anyway, the manager seems like a really nice lady. she gave me a huge hug to welcome me "home" .. lol ... she's got too much energy i think. i've got to remember to buy some foil for the window.. there's a light right outside my bedroom window and that's gonna bother me but anyways, got stuff to pack.. take care!
