2005 EB 6.0 4X4 EXCURSION
first time marker light fuse blew replaced worked for a few day blew again. Replaced fuse again blew same day, Replaced fuse again blew instantly replaced blew again instantly. Replaced again removed all marker light sockets from the circuit turned headlight switch to marker blew fuse. Ordered new switch, installed switch and new fuse markers worked for about a week then blew fuse again. Replaced fuse again blew instantly. Pulled fuse panel down checked over wired and plugs no visible damage. Put new fuse in turned switch on lights work stayed working moved and worked all wires to fuse panel lights stayed on. Left lights on for about 5 mins and fuse blew again. Replaced fuse and blew instantly. Removed panel and removed back cover to inspect no visible damage.
Please help I am at my wits end this is my daily not to mention my race car hauler and well its race season.
I am watching your deal here. My 05 now has no trailer tail and marker lamps. Blew a fuse...changed it. And now no power at the 7 way plug pin for tail lights.
Have you had a windshield replaced lately? A friend of mine had one replaced in a F 350 and they cut and shorted the wires going up the a pillar on the passenger side……
