I am putting a 79 Cordoba front end under my 56 F100. I have a Ford 9" with the 5X5 Bolt pattern and would like to Change the Bolt pattern from the 4.5X5 Chrysler rotors to a 5X5 so that I will have the same wheels front and rear. Has anyone found a solution to this problem? Can the new Rotors be drilled to a 5X5 pattern?
Geo;
most machine shops can drill rotors to accept any bolt pattern. Although,it is probably best to drill new rotors as they will be free of cracks and thick enough to be safe.
I have had some done for about $30 cdn a few years back,so that should work out to $1.50 US.---HAHAHA
good luck

Make sure the center hole in your Ford wheels is large enough to allow the center protrusion of the Mopar hub to fit properly through when the wheel is bolted on (after the bolt pattern is fixed).
My machinist told me no to 5x5.5. Rotors may vary from the many different applications with the Volare design. I think you may have a shot at the 5 in diameter.
