We were stunned to see a 4dr yellow badlands soft top on a dealers lot last night and just had to stop and drive it.
It was a 2.3L stick. Not a Sasquatch, mid package. Dealer said that it's one of two they will get to keep for the showroom and they can't sell it. It drove nice, much better than the Jeep we drove last week.
I think we are going to have to order one, dealer says we won't see it before next year.
Well... we are in the second half of 2021 already!
I'm glad to hear they are actually arriving at dealer lots. Also glad to hear it drove better than the Jeep. I think most people will have a similar experience to you - the Bronco will be far more refined, just as adaptable / customizable, and way better for most situations. Ford wasn't out to build a Jeep "competitor" they were building a Bronco, and the Bronco has always had it's own unique character.
Well I don't think anybody should buy one these Bronco's right now, because the dealers are marking them up 20K over sticker. I've bought and paid for many special Fords over the years (Boss 302, Raptors, GT500, Cobra), never over sticker. I see some people are offering their reservations at 100k. Really? The old saying "some people have more money than brains" holds true here. If I insulted some one so be it. As I said all along the dealers are the factory's customer not the end buyer. It's evident that Ford has climbed into swamp with the dealers and thrown the end buyers under the bus.
Stopped at my dealer Friday to see the Bad Lands they got in. Story goes, a customer saw it on the car hauler, and followed it to the dealer. Thing was on the ground for only minutes and it was bought. They can't release for 6 months though.
It was a 2 door with the "squatch" package, hardtop, 2.7 and some other stuff. I do believe I'm sold. Some real homework went into this thing, so many offroad features, the mirrors, flares, the rear of the rollbar is fitted with lights for those that will remove the top, and a bunch more.
I also got an invite from my engineer neighbor to come downstate, call him, and he'd meet me with one for a totally unbiased test drive. I do think it would be worth the 400 mile round trip, I about piddled me panties when he told me that.
I am looking at the 4 door Wild Trac for myself, has everything I want for a bit less than outfitting the other models, and a lot cheaper than the F150 I now have. Just a couple options to add, and I'll be happy.

I won't pay over Z plan... If I have to wait, so be it.
I got to put my hands on one today, finally. 4 door big bend. Weeny tires. Soft top. Auto. Still pretty cool. Sticker was about $40k. Didn't stick around to be mobbed by a salesman or test drive.
I didn't get any pics but has anyone else noticed how low the rear shock bracket hangs down below the axle? Maybe it was the little tires but seems like a rock catcher to me...
Dealer 1/2hr from me has a four door Outer Banks 2.7/auto on the lot, non Sasquatch and soft top. Saw it today while driving through town while on the job. Might head over there this weekend to look at it closer, will go after hours so I don't get harassed so hopefully they leave it outside. It was parked next to an F150 and it is bigger than I was expecting it to be, looks to be a little larger than a four door jeep. The hood and top of the cab were about the same height as the F150.

Here is my wife driving our home last night. Paid 3% under invoice. Far cry from "Every dealer charging ADM!!". Really cool vehicle.
We test drove a two door Outer Banks Sasquatch, 2.7, hard top last night. Not as peppy as I thought it would be. Squats in the back a lot when you hit it. It was kind of choppy but that’s to be expected with a short wheelbase.
It was raining so this was the only picture I took.
