Electrically stumped

New here have a 2006 f150 4.6 having troubles with turn signal blower shift release trying to figure out what is the issue but then noticed a check engine on so I plugged in the obd2 reader it said misfire on 1 yes I know it has nothing to do with this but at that time we are also changing out the stereo because we had been having problems with that first after wiring every thing up turned it on and every thing was perfect issue is I forgot to take out my b/t obd2 scanner this was almost a week ago well driving today we started smelling something burning it was the b/t obd2 scanner pulled it out and now all the issues have come back im at a loss thanks for any help
Add on i also plugged in my regular obd2 reader but unscrewed it from the reader box and every thing started working again but after it was plugged in a few mins the cord started getting hot. Side note when the hvac is on but on lvl1 every thing works fine but the blower dose not blow

This is when set to 2 for the blower without obd2 cord hooked up

This is on lvl2 with obd2 cord hooked up
but as soon as I turn between 2 and 4 thats when the lights and shifter mess up

I think I remember some of these trucks having a common grounding problem. Look behind the driver's side kickpanel and see if there is a ground there that is rusted.

That was it but it was the passenger side I noticed it before but didn't think about it for this when I went to unbolt it was so rotted that the bolt just broke out I put new ends on the wired and found a new section to bolt it to worked perfect thanks

Broken ground

With that much rust on an interior bolt I'd look for a windshield or other water leak. In the area where that ground connection is located remove a few things to see if there's evidence of water streaking from above the bolts location.

Has any of the surrounding metal rusted too?

the lower section is rusted we are going to be taking out the rubber floor to see what the pans look like
