Cargo camera question

Just discovered I have a cargo camera after 2 years. Don’t laugh at me. Lol. Question is, when i activate it, it’s just a blue screen that says to check surroundings. All other cameras work as normal. I am hooked to trailer , does it not work when towing? Thanks !

my dads ram has this issue and the camera was moved to the auxiliary for some reason when hooked to a trailer, are there other camera positions you can try?

unhooked and no go. All I get is the blue screen still. I just discovered it and now it’s not working. Bummer. It’s under warranty but not sure I want to hassle. My truck still defaults to the towing screen on start up to. Can’t remember how to fix that. Auxiliary also shows blue screen and not available. I bet it fixes itself when I find out how to select no active trailer.

on my '19 with the full camera package, the blue screen shows when i dont have a camera input into the auxilliary , when i do, and selected, i get a image.

now stock, the cameras would shut off at about 6 mph or so, so if you are moving that may explain. there are solutions, but those trick the truck. it affects the navigation, as it thinks it is in reverse, but using a 3rd party nav works fine, or getting out of rear view, before turn comes up, is another solution.

i have a nav tv cod 53 unit that allows canera on demand at any speed.

All I want to use the cargo camera for is to assist when I hook up my gooseneck trailer so I don’t have to get out and look when I’m backing under it. Lol. What’s really interesting is after I turned truck off and back on , I have a new camera option , picture of a black trailer. Lol it seems to work. Only cameras that don’t work ( blue screen) is Aux but nothing is hooked up and the bed / cargo. I really want that bed cargo.
