Problem with lights

My dad gave me his ‘52 F3. It had been sitting since 2016. Finally have it running and mechanically safe to drive. However, I lose the brake lights and turn signals when I turn on the headlights. I promised my dad I would leave it as a 6v system, I replaced light switch, flasher, and checked the wiring. Since turn signals were a dealership option, I haven’t been able to find a diagram that includes the turn signal. Turn signal switch is a Napa 900, Any suggestions?

Google napa 900 signal switch wiring diagram and you should get usable results. Best to test the switch for continuity in the various positions.

Good looking rig.

There's a good chance it's just not getting the ground it needs.

Don’t give up on 6v, very reliable once you work out the bugs. You will find diagrams on here for the switch to make sure you have it wired correctly.

Yep, X2 on the grounds. It would be a good idea to connect or add a ground from your battery cable connection on your engine block to the frame, and another ground connection from the same point on the block to your firewall on the cab. Then go back and check all your ground connections on your headlights and turn signals and tail lights to make sure they are all clean and tight.
Not that this has anything to do with your problem but just something to think about and is talked about a lot on this forum is your battery cables. Good 6 volt battery cables are very large gauge 0 or even 2/0. If you see any green corrosion on your cables end terminals where they meet the cable itself then its time to change them. If you engine struggles to crank it will make a huge difference.
