F6 Radiator

Would a F1 with a 226 have the same radiator as an F6 with the 254? If not, where could I get a replacement?

Radiators are the same. Lmctruck.com still has a good price for a drop in replacement. Give them a look.

Edited: Best listen to Chuck as he knows about the bigger trucks.

Okay, thank you. It's hard to tell without the sites giving specs or dimensions.

An F-1/3 came standard with a 3 row core. The F-4/6 standard 4 row core was the HD option for a F-1/3. If you put a 3 row core in that big truck, it's likely to overheat. Make sure you know what you are buying.

Okay, thanks for the info. I've also learned from personal experience that the coolant to water ratio can make a difference too.
