Eh, okay. Why is it everybody has a YouTube channel and becomes an instant expert. How do they get these trucks, anyway?

Lol…….Press vehicles that Ford has provided to YouTubers and various other channels.

I take what any of them say with a grain of salt because until it hits the real world and is actually tested by a true and reliable source, this is nothing but entertainment bordering on clickbait.

I know the F150 its strengths and weaknesses. It will be a great truck, I hope the front wheel bearings are really tough in this generation. The roads are so full of potholes anymore. Those who drive more or less than 200 miles per day will Love the Lightning !

May the thread talk about its good and bad qualities as time passes !

This guy started out with TFL and decided to go out on his own giving a slightly different perspective from Canada. He puts out some great videos particularly off-road testing.
I like him!

Well; Having those rapid charges in the County Seat towns along with the huge Metro Area's will most likely spell success or doom for the EV's. Today you see 2 -4 rapid Charger Stations and no parking lots to handle the lines of nearly dead vehicles. My guess its gonna be like R.R. Union Station Mo. in the 1880's Very Crowded, not so smoky but very cold and windy or very hot and Humid. Or Umbrella's ! Obviously a huge amount of Infrastructure bill money will have to go to building charging stations and power supplies to use them ! Huge can only be.

Think we need to discuss Chargers as an ongoing knowledge option ? Alternative Fuels Data Center: Electric Vehicle Charging Station Locations (energy.gov)

But if you closely look at it. Middle of the USA and Jacksonville Florida. If you live in an area that 20 miles away one can see the problems of Commuting too far to have any fun !

The Math becomes disturbing to me. letting this become a future is easy, Let this go with see none at military bases !

Just saw this. The charger Ford supplies with the truck !

All Ford F-150 Lightning trucks come with a mobile charging unit equipped with a choice of cords that can plug into either a 240-volt NEMA 14-50 outlet (for 13-19 miles per charging hour) or a conventional 120-volt outlet (for 3-5 miles per charging hour). 12 hours = 150 miles give or take with 240V. . (you know the middle of town on 120V cord )

Maybe this will become a $Trillion dollar yearly business in the USA, and a winner for all of us. A Bunch of Rapid Chargers at every Mini Mart and Parking lot in the US. 40 minutes and a 15-80% charge ! Its a Win Win if it can happen. Why Not ? Conservatism, sometimes gets Liberal things done. I always liked driving the Electrics I fixed and maintained. It always came down to a Sheet at the end of the day.
