runs rough
85 F-150, small V-8. starts immediately and ruins great when cold. After it warms up it looses power and runs rough at lower rpms. suspecting the ERG, but open to all ideas. ran great until one of my guys did a tune up and changed plugs. Already checked the wires, they are OK. I'll be checking plug gaps today.

If its the coil, and its overheating, it needs to come out and be replaced, there isn't any point in moving it to a cooler spot on an engine, for one...there isn't any...unless you can mount it under the wheel well...then you'll have to make all the wires longer...go figure.
