I just realized that I've been using my real name so are we going to stop that now. How many are using SPE disaster prevention? How big of an effort is it to install it? Not that I'm trying to shy from big projects Just trying to get an estimation. How many require this? I'm really trying to do all I can to extend the life of mine but at the same time not trying to spend a fortune the first month of owning. Thanks as always!

I use an app called Fuelly to track mileage and maintenance on my truck. I've owned it since Sept 11, 2020 and my spend breakdown between fuel and parts is like this:
Fuel: $1115.29
Service: $1283.94
It's amazing how much these things cost to keep up. Granted, that is two batteries, cold side intercooler hose, upper radiator hose, one tire, and normal oil and filters. And I've only put 6700 miles on it in that time frame. I don't mind the spend, cause I know this truck will last a long time if I take care of her. I quit worrying about the cost to maintain when I went to the diesel. I knew it was going to cost more, but the return on investment is well worth it. I love this truck and unless I destroy a motor in it, I'll drive it for a while. There are still a few things I want to do to it, but current circumstances won't permit it at this time. Take care of the truck and it will take care of you.
And don't worry about using your real name. I did the same thing....lol.
