Exterior mount vent visors??

Exterior mount vent visors??
Ok guys I'm hoping you can help with this one.
I want some of those VentShades or vent visors or whatever...the little things that go over the top of your windows so you can leave your windows cracked and rain will stay out, etc.
The problem is, I need some that mount on the EXTERIOR of the window frame--I have tried 2 different brands that mount on the interior and my rear windows hit on both!!
I have tried the VentShade and GTS brand--the ones made for my 2000 explorer mount on the interior. Every brand I find, they are made this way--the ones made just for my year/model mount on the interior!! argh.
I know I can just put double sided tape on some interior mount ones, and mount them on the outside, but they look funny because they're not shaped right.
So, do any of you know of any brand/company/websites where I can possibly some EXTERIOR mount ones made for my 2000 explorer??

had that same problem on both my Explorers. The rear window catches on the lower edge of the visor when you put it back up. If you install the visors and leave the rear windows up for about two weeks, it will fix the problem. It worked for me. They still make a slight noise when clearing the visor, but it's getting better every time I use the rear windows now.

I tried!
I tried that, and it did HELP a little, but my rear windows still had a loud pop or snap when they hit the bottom of the visor...and if you watched it you could tell it really twisted on them.
The way fords are made, I figured it would end up breaking something in my window assembly or something (knowing my luck) so I just gave up and removed them.
I now have an 02 explorer, and of course, the visors mount on the exterior the way they should.
It seems the only way to fix lots of the problems with the fords is to just buy a newer model one!!!! It worked for me
