I recently installed new 180/30% injectors in my e99 ran great for a week Lil more black smoke than I’d like but this last weekend I added some oil as is needed every couple weeks and after doing so truck did not want to start finally got it to go and she did not like it on top of that that black smoke would turn from light blue almost white to finally black got truck home and went to start it up next day to run some test and cannot get her to start I did find what I seem to think is oil from the filter drain valve so I am completely lost now any help or ideas would be great to hear thanks
Even after days of running great think they would unseat as for hpop leaks I’m not seeing anything in valley or anywhere else on block for that matter
if an oring was nicked or injector not torqued fully oil can start to push through to fuel side and over come the fuel pressure and go back into bowl, that was what I meant by hpo leak, not so much a visable one

well thank you very much guess I got some searching to do this evening then but thank you again
Prolly time to pop valve covers, and check if all are spittin oil when running, check injector height for even across each side with straight edge, and to check torque. Possible pull em to check orings, replace any damaged orings with oem and do all new crush washers.

what’s ur thoughts on dropping fuel tank to clean out
There have been several reports lately of failed injector o-rings coming from the lower quality injector builders like the ones who build ‘180/30’ injectors. But, o-ring failure usually doesn’t cause a no-start by itself.
You’ll need to do some more testing. Buzz test, KOEO and monitor ICP/IPR DC while cranking.
Do SES and WTS lights come on and go off before cranking??
Add a piece of hose to the fuel filter water drain valve discharge line that is long enough to reach a clean jug on the ground.
Drain filter, then turn ignition on and observe fuel flow. It should look like a water fountain (remember those??) and not be aerated or inconsistent flow. You should get about a quart of fuel and it should not be ‘black’.
