Sucks you're getting no joy on the Rancho's. I had all mine replaced under warranty. Dealer to a look, said ****it, best to just do them all. Ordered them in and got them installed the next week. No fuss at all. Sucks having to pay the labour, etc. but is what it is.
Just wish they'd improve the damn adjstr *****! You'd think it be worth it rather then having to replace a whole shock(s) for the sake of a cheap plastic **** breaking off.

17 F250 6.2 4x4 snow plow prep, 35x11.5 RG.
Front passenger blew.
almost exactly 20k miles from install. I noticed a slight clunking from the front right and found a puddle of oil under my truck a day later.
I liked the way these rode. Definitely helped soften the ride.
should I go with Fox 2.0?
Something else that’s comparable?
trying to stay around $1,000
I really don’t do any off-roading or heavy towing. Mostly pavement, but the roads in my city are garbage.

I never adjusted my ****’s after install. They did not fail from the *****.
both front shocks blew oil out the top(where the piston is). Passenger completely blew all its oil. Driver has a good drip going.

Interesting, I carried Rancho in my off-road shop, for 10 years. NEVER had an issue, never had a customer come back say he had a failure of any kind and I put on a LOT of Ranchos on Jeeps and Superdutys the only 2 things I worked on.

I did the Ranchos briefly on my truck which made for a very slight improvement over stock, but the truck was still skittish on washboards and harsh on crappy highways. Picked up Bilstein 5100s, and they're head and shoulders better performers. At least for me - everyone has their own ideas of what constitutes a good performance.

Where did you buy them from?

I had the same issue Mack is having when I had my '14 F150. Didn't have the rear shocks on for 30 days and one blew all of its oil in my driveway. Contacted Amazon, they told me to contact Rancho. Contacted Rancho, they told me to contact Amazon. Absolutely useless warranty system if you can't send the product back to the people that made them, especially when the middle man (Amazon) tell you "We don't make the product, we just sell them". Then the manufacturer tell you, "To make a warranty claim, they have to go back to the seller".
Bilstein got my business after that, and I couldn't have been happier. Replaced the rear shocks, and the front struts with their units. 65k miles on them when I sold the truck, still performing great. My '21 is getting Bilsteins as well.
