I will have to start keeping track of my milage on my F250 and sometimes in my Expedition. Anyone have a good milage tracker for an iPhone that I can share with my wife.
I know this in not any SD specific, but I figure a lot of you use different way of keeping track of milage for IRS and work.
Add me to the fuelly fans as well. Have been using it since it’s inception, and it works great on phone or pc. Create 1 login and put both vehicles in there.
It appears that the fuelly software is intended to track fuel mileage. Does it also track personal versus business (IRS) mileage that the OP is looking for?
I created and use an Excel spreadsheet I'd be happy to share if you want to go that route
MS-Excel spreadsheet here, too. Use many of them at work, and I developed one to track everything I want to know. After only 22K miles, my lifetime average is 16.16 MPG driving at an an average of 30.26 MPH. Have also used MS-Access for maintenance records of all my vehicles since the early 1990s.

Thanks. I just looked at the Fulley website, and I don't see an easy way to track milage. I am not interested in MPG I figure it is what ever it is.
The Excel spread sheet idea would work as well as a note book in each truck. I know me enough to say if it is not easy to do right now I will co it later and later normally means the day before it is do.

Hi Mike,
A buddy of mine that's a manufacturer's rep uses an app called MileQ to track his business and personal use. Pretty sure he has an iPhone. He's non-techy and loves the app, says it's easy to use.
What I do is write the mileage, mile driven, gals, prices and DTE on the fuel receipt. Later I use the receipt to update my log. I save all my receipts in a business size envelope .
I generally write service notes and other stuff in the note column. It would be easy to add a Maint column with totals. Below is what I track:
I use to have to keep and report mileage. I tried apps but I found a pen and small notebook to be the easiest way.
This worked well for me too. Especially when you have to track commuting miles (from home to first work stop) separate from business and personal use miles.
