Bilstein 5100 Front Stock Height

Anyone running Bilstein 5100’s on the front, with a stock ride height? Bilstein only makes a 5100 for 2”-2.5” lift. They make rear ones for 0-2” lift. I do have the plow prep package so my front sits a higher. TIA

Yes, they fit with no lift. IMO they should spec them as fitting 0-2" lift instead of that weird 2-2.5". If you do a search on here you can find posts from those who have used them on stock rigs without issue.

I run them as well, and ran them on my 2012, they had the same funny fitment notes, but I ran them 70k with no issues. On my 20 I have put about 15k on them so far with no issues.

+1 on 5100s on my 2017. Got em on all 4 corners and they ride great. I have no intention of ever lifting my truck.

I just replaced my stock shocks over the past weekend with 5100s. I compared them side by side while doing so. Both front and rear, the Ford shocks and the Bilsteins were the same length.
The part #s for the Bilsteins that I installed were:
24-274968 (rear)
24-274951(front)
I shopped around and couldn't find anybody selling them for less that $99/ea. Was going to order from 4WD Parts warehouse and the rears were 2 weeks out. Ordered from Summitt Racing late Sunday afternoon and UPS delivered all 4 of them by noon on Tuesday,.

And I have those part #s committed to memory. How sad of a statement is that...

I put Bilstein 5100’s on all 4 corners yesterday. Makes a world of difference on the ride. I can’t wait to tow with it. Backs were super easy, fronts fought me a bit. Overalll not bad.

Do they make the ride stiffer as in more harsh than stock?

No, much better ride. Smoother. The shocks absorb the bumps now vs the OEM shocks. It's still a 3/4 ton truck so it's not a miracle but a noticeable better ride.

It’s hard to decide on shocks but you never hear anything bad about bilstein.. the 4600 series is supposed to be softer but can’t bring myself to have yellow shocks lol

I put Bilstein 5100's 2011 F250. Will the 5100's work on a 2019 F350 DRW with a 6.7 4x4?

I just got my set of 5100’s in the mail today.

had the rancheros 9000xl. Their junk. And terrible customer service.

my 17’ F-250 6.2 snow plow prep. No lift.
I also read that those struts fit a stock truck.

should give installed tomorrow
