It's hotter here than most of the US. What gives? Well for those of you that wanted to go to FL, just step outside. It's like fast travel to the heat.
Oh I forgot to pass along that I was promoted to Sgt.. Well I applied and was #1 for both interviews and was offered the job. I hope I can still get days off? LOL
congratulations Cory! Now you get the paperwork, dealing with personnel and public nightmare
Ok so here are the details. I found a '03 6.0 that was rust free in MN surprisingly. It has 176k on it and in the last 16k mils he has had it "bullutproofed". He even replaced the radiator with an aluminum one and a bunch of other things just because he wanted too. I need to do some things to it but that because he used it like car so he leveled it by taking the blocks out of the back. Won't work for me plus some other things I want to do to it. Here are the pics of that truck and the other addition to the family. A '96 f350 7.3 with the zf5 in it. Body is in great shape as it originally came from Georgia so no rust but needs some mechanical issues dealt with and some interior work done. This is a truck my son bought. He took out loan with his grandparents. So now he is working to pay them back. Should be a nice truck for him.
trucks look really nice. You have an older son from a different marriage? Or is son Jace older than I thought?
Good morning inferno MN. Sounds like you might be making Death Valley jealous with your heat. Cooled off here to the 70s and low humidity
Good morning Jim! A little relief today for me anyway. Currently raining and in the 60's. Almost an inch of rain so far. Tomorrow it starts warming up again and back in the 90's by Sunday.

Thanks Jim! Nope only the one son. He will be 15 in Feb so he is lucky boy to get that truck so early. He will have time to fix the issues. It was his idea all on his own to call his grandparents for the loan. I knew they wouldn't say no but he didn't know what they would say. When they told him he could get it after they thought about it for a few days and him sweating it out and worrying it would sell, he just sobbed and was shaking. You could tell how much it meant to him.
