15 f250 6.2 ac issue
Recently purchased a 1 owner 2015 f250 6.2 xl with 211k miles. Had to replace tires, 8 coil packs, 16 spark plugs, air filter and shocks. Got windows tinted today and really realized i have issue with my ac. Compressor comes on, i hear flow of freon through expansion valve, feel burst of cold air then warm air. That cycle continues. I have notice once been driving and cruising speed temp will seem to maintain, no flowing sound but not as cold as it should be. Put my gauges on and all looks normal. I have researched about the evap temp sensor. forscan shows sensor at 3/5 to 8/9 celcius. I was getting high 60s from vent idling in yard while testing. Blend doors are working, no codes or faults. Im alittle puzzled and wish i had my 01 v10 still. Ford went very cheap after 07 my opinion. Wanted to ask others there input. I feel its either the expansion valve or evap sensor. I just found out about the evap sensor today and it sounds like its worth replacing, but hate replacing parts if there not bad. Thanks for all help.
