Truck shake @ 2000+rpm
so I have a 1997 CCLB 7.3 powerstroke f350
I thought it was the transmission making my vehicle shake at high rpm shifts, but what I've realized is if I'm on the highway and I turn off overdrive and drop down to 3rd at highway speeds, making my rpms @ 2100-2500, the truck will shake in the front end/floor of the front end even when not attempting to shift to 4th since the OD is turned off. The rear diff is in bad shape the previous owner said, and I'm just wondering what you guys think could be causing this shake (if it isnt the rear diff) and if it is the rear diff please let me know. It will shake/shudder if it revs high from any switch, but usually only the 2-3rd switch is the one that revs high so its more noticeable. no shake/shudder at any other rpms or switches unless the switch is at high rpm since the rpm is whats causing the shake, not the shift.
