bad o2 sensor

bad o2 sensor

on a 351 if there is a bad o2 sensor will that cause the engine to run ruff at idle

as far as i know from other ppls cars it will cause the engines rpms to go up and down slightly while idling. it will be noticible to the ear.

Does it initially run good when you first start it up?(thatis, cold?)

it sounds like it is running unregulated if you understand what i mean but as soon as i rev it up it seems to be fine..i have a exhaust manifold that is leaking could that be part of the problem

ya thats what i meant. it only seems unregulated while idling.

and it seems that is where one of the leaks is right by the o2 sensor
