whats the coolest thing you have WON ?

ok im not a *loser* but im not much of a winner either...

in my life ive won a few bucks on scratch offs, and other lottery tickets, but never enough to retire on at my young age

but a few weeks ago i won tickets to a sneak preview of the movie "cabin fever" and when i was five years old i won a real candy bar that filled the trunk of my moms cadillac...solid chocolate.

BEAT THAT.

I haven't won much either as far as contest's go....every year I go to our credit union's annual meeting ( real exciting stuff )but they hand out tickets at the start of the meeting and all throughtout it ( I'm sure to keep people awake) they give money away. Biggest prize is $150. I won the $100 one year and $20 several years in a row. I'm sure its nothing compared to what some on here have one, but you can't beat free money

Honestly, the best thing I ever won was the heart of someone I loved completely and unequivocably. Yet to have anything top that in my life

Sadly enough, no Fisher. She was one of the many victims of 9/11. Now I don't need or want any condolences, lol, let's get that out now. I am fine and have moved on with my life. Hope still lives to find another that embodies all I seek. But it was one of the best times of my life. If not The best.

While visiting a friend of mine in Japan, we went to an amusement park and discovered one of those old-timey cork gun shooting galleries. I decided I wanted a zany-looking, fist-sized, Nerf-like hippopotamus I saw going around and around, so I took aim, and...
*pop*
*pop*
*pop*
...it didn't fall off within my three shots, and I'd already decided I wasn't going to spend any more yen for a silly hippo, but one of my shots bounced back to me (due to the hippo's Nerfish resilience) and with that fourth bonus shot (*pop!*) the squishy hippo was mine.

Moral of the story: Our boys shown them sandal-wearing goldfish tenders how real, red blooded Americans shoot in Doubleya-Doubleya Two, and I done showed 'em again back in 2000! U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!

I filled out, and won 2 free plane tickets round trip to any 3 destinations. (Flordia, Cali, and one of the islands). Needless to say, we had 2 years to do what we wanted with them. The two years came, and went, and we never used them.

My mom won $1,000 off a slot machine in Vegas 3 years ago.

Thats about it.
Oh, and our cousin won $100,000 off the CT lottery 2 years ago. The Gov. took a lot of the money though.

Not much here in the way of winnings:
Other Bower won enough in Atlantic City that we didn't have to sleep in the truck. In fact we got a room, went to dinner, gambled half the night, and went to Hooters for lunch the next day, and left with what we'd come with ($100)

I've got a shotgun and a rifle won in raffles. (more to come I hope)

We hardly buy scratch-off tickets anymore, but when we get a winner we stick it in an envelope. When we want cash for something fun, we turn them in. Usually $80-$100 worth. That's not really "winning" though when you consider what was spent on the tickets.

There's always the misc. small stuff, like my favorite (and I had never seen this happen before): You know the dime toss at the fair, where all the glasses are stacked up? There's usually a tall stack in the center, with the top glass being something with a tiny opening. OB walked past one, tossed a dime at it, and ringered right in the top glass. Shocked both of us and the carnie running the booth. She won the whole stack plus five dollars. We now have enough cheap glassware to open our own thrift store!

$4500 at http://www.mysticlake.com casino. (MN)
It was during december last year during thier free football picks promotion. I'm still trying to fiure out how I picked all the winning teams correctly. The 4500 prize was a 3 week collective amount, The next prize was $1500 which was split between 12 people all of which missed one. And only one person got them all right, ME!

So far this year the best I have done was 12/15.

I win small, usually. Like 10 bucks in a scratch and win. I once won $250.00 in pull tabs.

By far, the coolest thing I ever won has to be a box of Lego's from Mc Donalds. Mind you, I was 8 years old.
