Front end alignment or bigger problem?
I recently bought a 1999 Super Duty from my mom's boyfriend. It as well as others I have noticed have a definite alignment problem. He had new tires put on a few months back and the front end aligned...however the two front tires still look "/ \" when looking at it from the front of the vehicle. Seems to drive just fine, but I'm sure it's eating up the two new tires up front.
As I mentioned, I have seen several other trucks with a similar problem. Is it simply a mechanic doing a lousy front end alignment, or something bigger?
I intend to take it in and have it corrected, but am wondering whether I'm going to have to take out a second mortgage to get it done.

Is this truck 4x4 ? need more info .
If this truck was in a good alignment shop they would have chkd a few things before doing an alignment.

Black 1999 F 250 Super Duty XLT Lariat 4 X 4 V-10 4.30 gears 105,000 miles.
As mentioned, I've seen several trucks with this same apparent situation, there must be a fairly common problem causing it. Thought someone might know.
