Mystery Ground Strap
I don't know why i haven't noticed this before... but I have a ground strap under the hood near the A/C box. One side is connected to the firewall. The other side is just dangling. I was assuming it was supposed to hook up to something on the A/C box... but where? Any of you other guys with a 77 A/C-equipped truck have this strap?

X2 yes should be attached to the hood.

Yep, provided a ground plane for radio static suppression I believe.

I'm glad you posted this thread. Mine broke a while back, and now I'm reminded to make a new one. I keep a roll of that braided ground strap in one of my electrical boxes. I see it when I don't need it, and bet you I can't find it now.

Ok fair enough, but I KNOW you have to have 6 toes, (on each foot) I seen them monster EEEE work boots. Dar be BIGFOOT.
